My helper cooked a stir-fried cabbage dish this morning and it was good. However, nothing can really beat the vegetables I’ve tasted at Cameron Highlands last year. The vegetables there were fresh, crunchy and sweet. In addition, the strawberries were so plump and juicy.
Here’re some photos from the trip.

Check out the colours on these.

Honestly it wasn’t that much fun travelling up and down the steep slope to Cameron Highlands in a bus, but these fresh produce sure made it more worthwhile.

Amsie,
What were the smallish red berries/veggies next to the aubergines in the left of the top photo?
The Cauliflower looked wonderful: and what is Cameron Highland?
Interested furriner wants to know:)

The strawberries look really great! I have never been to Cameron Highland before but I have heard many times about the strawberries there. Nothing beats seeing the real thing in picture

Rosie: Aww thanks Rosie!
Yup, freshness sure makes a lot of difference when it comes to whipping up simple dishes.
brendan: Hmmm very good question, I’ll find this out for you – not sure if its a vegetable I usually see in Singapore. Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest hill resort. It’s a long drive up and the air is oh so fresh.
BK: Yup, and it tasted delicious too!
Thanks for dropping by BK.
