This has got to be one of the best ice cream eateries in New York City’s Chinatown in terms of its variety of flavours. We were freezing but some things were not to be missed – good ice cream during winter included!
I think these smiling kids think so too. They’re both so incredibly adorable! Of course, I had asked for permission from their parents before I took this shot. π

Guess what? My mate bought me a T shirt from the Ice Cream factory in NYC years ago! I’m still wearing it proudly. This shop must be pretty famous hur?
I love Ice Cream in Winter! Over here, some places carry Winter Ice Creams too.. slightly different from the usual Ice Cream!

VeggieGirl: Haha yay!
Sherxr: WOW you got a t-shirt! Good on you! π I guess winter ice creams melt less easily.
jzztzz: I want to go back too! But I’d much prefer to go in winter. Great if we could all go together again and we could meet Val and go to Boston and watch plays and musicals and eat and shop…I MISS NYC!

I remember having ice cream in Australia once, not really winter, but still cold. My friend’s logic was that you had to lower your own body temp to match the environment’s so that way you won’t feel cold.
Might have worked if we were reptiles.

adrian: hahaha that’s a good one!
shivya: Wow don’t you miss home because of Singapore’s perpetually hot weather?

I think eating ice cream when the weather is cold is TEH BOMB! Haha! Maybe it’s true, it’s lowering our body temp or something. Or maybe the sensation of cold on cold is just.. irresistible. π I ate ice cream in Poland when it was spring. Okay, not THAT cold but still! Apparently I’m so “tropical” as my conductor said -_-
And the ice cream in poland is tall! Like really!

sylvgee: I am a lover of cold, hence today’s weather was appalling! all ice cream would melt under the sun here in Singapore.
foodshoesandtattoos: I am no longer in new york city, was just reminiscing on old photos and the food there. It was lovely. π Blue note was great ain’t it? Thanks for dropping by and leaving a note!
ladyironchef: Haha that sounds nice too. But sometimes during winter it gets so warm indoors.
timmyoung: Nope, I wish! haha…
