House at Dempsey Hill, Singapore.

Sometimes food tastes good simply because…of the company one’s with.

Fish and chips, with a unique set of dips. Tomato (I think), vinegar and tartar sauce.

Very unique tasting seafood pasta.

Dessert. There’s always space for that.

A great place to just let down your hair, chill and watch life go by. Oh and also if you’re into tai-tai watching, you’ll see some beautiful people there. Where at? House at Dempsey, Singapore.

But like I said, sometimes food tastes good because of who you’re with. And this meal tasted fabulous.

Don’t take my word for it, check out the place for yourself. Also, do visit the toilets, very nice and clean design. πŸ˜‰

I find it absolutely amusing that you mention the toilet RIGHT after you mention all the DELICIOUS SINFUL food!! Why didn’t you attach a picture of the toilet as well? hahaha!

Thanks for the recommendation. Will definitely go check out the place (especially the TOILET) next time I go to Dempsey Hill.

Ah, good company is so important. Oddly enough, in my drinking days, now long gone, I found that good company made that go with a swing too:)

I was fascinated at your reference to Tai-Tai watching, and went looking for what it meant. I could guess from the context, but sometimes these things don’t quite cross cultural borders.

Would you care to explain exactly what Tai-Tai watching means to you?

It seems a thoroughly worthwhile occupation, to me:)

I thought toilets in singapore are always clean. Not the case in Malaysia though. Nice post

@Brendan, gosh such a late reply πŸ˜› I apologies. Tai-Tai-s are somewhat of a stereotype we Singaporeans place on ladies who have wealthy husbands, who lounge around beautiful cafes with other Tai-Tai-s, enjoying life and perhaps, watching their time on when they should pick their kids up from piano class or when their next manicure session is. πŸ˜‰
